Join us to receive Pennsylvania History: A Journal of Mid-Atlantic Studies, which brings you the best of current scholarship in the history of the Commonwealth and the region. Regular issues featuring articles, annotated documents, and book reviews, with forthcoming features on musuem exhibits, films, and historical collections.
Joining the Pennsylvania Historical Association also keeps you up to date on who's researching and writing on various aspects of Pennsylvania and Middle Atlantic history and regional studies.
Joining the Pennslvania Historical Association affords you new contacts in the profession, and an opportunity to meet people who share your interest in history. Our annual conference, held in a different location in the state each year, provides sessions featuring speakers of state and national reputation, as well as opportunities to network with colleagues.
Finally, membership in the Pennsylvania Historical Association allows you to share in promoting and supporting history education in the Commonwealth, its sponsorship of History Day in high schools, as well as to sustain the publication of the Association's Pennsylvania History Studies Series.
